This was my first visit. Had heard a lot of good things from family members that have eaten here. I only ordered one BBQ sandwich to go, as it was my first time and getting food to go. I can't rave enough about the BBQ sandwich! If I had a clue how good it was going to be, I would have loaded up on it for home! I will definitely be stopping again when coming through the area during their business days and hours. Definitely an A+ from me on this first visit!

If you love down home country cooking this is your place one exit before the big name places but one step ahead in greatness real small place you blink you may miss it but keep your eyes open and your belly ready and the owner I met personally and ones of the nicest guys you wanna talk to and boy can he talk. Try the fired chicken and hush puppies are outta this world

Pork BBQ was very good ENC style chopped pork. The slaw was slightly sweet with a hint of vinegar. All their vegetables are vegetarian friendly. I love the round hushpuppies. It's an older building in need of some upgrades. We will be back and also recommend Doug Sauls BBQ to others.

What a great place! Had pulled pork sandwich, fish sandwich, Brunswick stew, banana pudding; all absolutely delicious! Very friendly folks, food fast and hot. Some of the best Brunswick stew ever! Got pulled pork to go, but it was just the pulled pork, no slaw or sauce and not great. I’ll take it home and slaw and sauce it. Will absolutely return!!

This is the restaurant that I will be going to from here on out. The staff was excellent. Hospitality and the food is Awesome . Prices are great. I stongly recommend the public to eat at this restaurant. Thank yall to the owner and staff. Touchdown.

Bbq and slaw was delicious. Chicken pastry was a bit light on the chicken but the bits it did have were very solid

This is the best vinegar BBQ i’ve ever tasted. The hush puppies are great, the green beans are great, the coleslaw is great, the fried chicken dipped in the vinegar barbecue sauce is great, the pork is great and the only thing that isn’t great we don’t know cause we didn’t try it. This is worth pulling off the highway and stopping in for a nice lunch. And the people that work here are as sweet as the tea.
